Sailorearth // Oh NO she didn't!
While Earth had expecting a confrontation, she hadn't expected a lightning bolt. She'd raised her gauntlets to take the impact when something (or someONE) slammed into her and knocked her down. When her head hit the ground yet again, she groaned and pressed a hand to the area to see if she was getting a bump. Or bleeding. Or worse. There was a small lump forming, but nothing too worrying. She raised an eyebrow at Kunzite and teased,
"I thought you were protecting me from injury, no causing it," and she chuckled before getting back to her feet.
The lightning did hit someone. It hit Mercury...or whom she assumed had been Mercury. Her eyes widened and she cried out in horror as the young woman went flying. That bolt was no joke and Earth knelt by her side.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine in a moment," she reassured her and cupped her hands. "Healing petals."
Lavender petals started to fall from nowhere and pooled into Sailorearth's cupped hands. She blew gently and they wafted over Alexis, sinking into her skin, and working their healing magic on her body. Once they'd vanished, Sailorearth rose and faced Zeus.
"Thank you for the warning. Now let me give you one of my own," she clenched her hand into a fist and emerald light started to dance around her hand. She slammed her fist onto the ground.
All was still for a moment. Then the ground beneath Zeus' feet rumbled and thick, woody roots studded with small thorns erupted all around Zeus and started reaching for their target.
"If you and your fellow fakes are still around, then be warned: we will come for you. And we will not stop until the last of you is dead and dust!"

Sailor Neith - More dangerous than she looks
Without her own princess here, Neith wasn't sure if she should get involved in the fighting. Especially since she didn't seem to think Zeus posed much of a threat. When the cloud formed above the blind woman's head and a lightning bolt shot out at Kunzite and Earth, Neith instinctively ducked out of the way. "Okay, maybe she is a threat."
The lightning flew past it's intended targets and hit the pink-haired lady in the arm. Sailor Earth reacted faster in coming to her aid. She had healed the pink lady and attacked Zeus before Neith could get back to her feet. Using her weapon now was not a good idea, so Neith added her own attack to Earth's.
"Omnis Discordia!" She threw the ball of energy as close as she could get it to Zeus, in the hopes of discouraging the Shade from attacking again. She moved toward Kunzite and offered the other woman a hand up. "You could play football with tackles like that."

[ Kunzite ~ Well, the odds are slightly in our favor... ]
Kunzite had nailed her elbow pretty hard on the tile floor of the cafe when she went down, but only gave a wince in response to the pain. All she knew was her Princess was safe from the blast, and that was enough for her.
Surprisingly, her usual charming personality seemed to have vanished, not responding much to the little joke Earth had made.
"Better a bump on the head then to be electrocuted." Kunzite responded in a matter-of-fact tone, when Irei would have normally responded back with an equally witty retort.
Someone else got hit with the bolt - was that...Mercury? - but her lovely Princess was on it in a heartbeat. Kunzite accepted the hand offered down to her by another Guardian (she wasn't sure which one, though) and rose to her feet, taking up her sword again.
Kunzite turned her attention back to Sailor Zeus, glaring over at her. "It appears as if we have you outnumbered, Shade." She muttered darkly. "Three against one isn't really in your favor."

** SailorZeus & Kismet Chauncey **
Zeus didn't feel the natural electrical pulse of the vines until it was too late to do anything. They wrapped around her tight, forcing their thorns into any orifice they could find. She gritted her teeth, trying to contain the pain. It first, it wasn't too different from the pain of being struck by lightning. Then, as the thorns moved deeper and stayed there, the pain turned, for lack of a better word, blinding. She shouted in agony and instinct had to try to fight her way out. It only made it worse, and she felt for sure she would tear herself apart.
Then, there was a sense of calm. It washed over her like a warm bath. It quickly stirred up Zeus' self-doubt toward the situation. What was she doing? How did she think that she could do anything toward these people? She was outnumbered, three to one. Her muscles went limp and the vines seemed to loosen.
"If you and your fellow fakes are still around, then be warned: we will come for you. And we will not stop until the last of you is dead and dust!"
"Fakes?" The calm was gone, instantly replaced with untold anger. "FAKES?! How dare an insolent child who pretends to play princess and warrior dare call ME a fake?!"
Another dark cloud began forming over Zeus. Off to the side, Kismet stood protectively in front of Laila. The scene before them just kept getting weirder and weirder. He didn't understand any of what they were saying, as though it were all out of context. What he did understand was that Caecus' pain was real. He could see the thin rivers of crimson coming off of those unreal vines, and he felt useless to do anything. He was supposed to protect her in this strange land, but all he could do was stand by and watch.
The cloud grew bigger and darker, and within her vine cocoon, Zeus felt onto her Levin Talae. It remained upright in her hands through the whole mess, and somewhere in her struggling, she managed an opening. The dark cloud sparked, and Zeus took her opening. "Micans Orbis!" She let the Levin Talae slide from her fingers. The moment it hit the ground, an orb of lightning grew from her being.
It was fast, growing outwards and tearing the vines apart. It threw them in all directions across the cafe, prompting Kismet to throw himself onto Laila and out of the way. When he recovered, he looked back to Caecus. She stood slightly hunched, surrounded by a glowing field that sparked with lightning. She was holding herself up with that silver cane, and he knew she wasn't doing well. "Laila, stay here!" Kismet said hurriedly. He jumped up and ran to Caecus. The moment he hit the barrier, it dropped, and so did Caecus. Kismet scooped her up as her strange clothing melted back into her previous outfit; The silver cane was gone. "This is over!" Kismet shouted at the strangely-dressed women. He then ran for the door.

Sailorearth // Damnit!
The vines had been working, she'd been hoping to get close enough to strike Zeus down, but apparently her words had an impact. A rather large one. I'll remember that. She wasn't hurt by the insults though. In her heart, Earth knew who she was. She was the true ruler of this planet, the true Senshi of Earth, and nothing and no one could tell her different. When the civilian boy leaped into the fray and carried her off, Earth rose. She wouldn't hurt civilians, even IF they were helping Shades.
"You're right...this is over..." she turned back to the others. "It appears the Shades have been reborn. As have we. We have no choice but to continue the war that began so long ago." Earth trailed off in thought, murmuring to herself. "They still seem to think that they have the rights to our thrones...I still wonder where they got those thoughts..."
She shook herself and let go of her henshin. When she returned to just Kida, her confidence drained away. Her calm was shattered. Kida had always been a person led around by her emotions and this time was no different. Fighting tears as the adrenaline, shock, and horror of what happened was starting to sink in, Kida fumbled for her coat.
"I'm sorry...I, I have to go. I have to go now. I'm sorry," and she grabbed the coat, intending to flee the scene as fast as possible.

[ Kunzite ~ Wait, Princess! ]
The battle had been won, but before Kunzite could pursue the enemy, they had vanished with their man-servant. She relaxed from her posture, resting the flat of her blade against her shoulder. About to turn around and open her mouth in their little victory, Kunzite turned to her Princess and noticed she had fallen back into her civilian state.
Instantly, Kunzite dropped her sword to the ground. She gasped and hurried after Earth's civilian guise. "Princess, Wait!" She shouted after her, but stopped a few paces short. She didn't want to impose on her; but considering she had been looking for this girl for god-knows-how-long, she didn't want to just up and lose her again!

{ Laila Sindri :: Wait, what? }
Everything was happening too quickly. One second she was discussing (read: panicking) with Caecus' companion about magic and leaving, and the next there were vines and lightening everywhere. Laila wanted to scream for everything to stop, for Caecus to stop zapping everything and for the other pretty girl to stop throwing vines everywhere (How is this even possible?!) but words didn't work. Laila wasn't too sure her brain was working.
The next explosion of power caught her offguard (not that she was ever really on guard) and Laila yelped, covering her eyes, She yelped again as Kismet knocked her flying, out of the way of the explosion and resulting debris. By the time she managed to sit up and gather her senses, both Kismet and Caecus had gone, and there was pandemonium and chaos everywhere.
"What the hell?" She groaned.

{ Alexis Caldwell-Blakeney :: Time for a brief nap... }
That blast of lightening had hurt. Alexis had been gripping her upper arm tightly, muttering through as many different variations of the word "ouch" as she could remember in each language she spoke - her usual method of controlling pain. When the curly-haired woman crouched beside her, she was at a loss as to what to do, and she stared at her blankly. The blank look turned to one of mingled shock and astonishment as she performed what Alexis could only call a healing spell. The petals soothed the pain, and within seconds it was gone, not a mark.
A flash of something - a memory? - skittered across Alexis' mind, and she attempted to catch it before it went again, but she wasn't quick enough, and she was merely left with the lingering sense that she knew this woman somehow. It, honestly, was all too much, and she stopped trying to force her mind into some semblance of functionality, and shut her eyes, flopping back in a dead faint.

Yasashii Kida // Can't Go Yet...Drat...
She winced when the woman (Kunzite, her mind reminded her) called after her. Called her "Princess". She wasn't a princess, she was just a normal girl. A normal girl who just used magic, summoned vines, wore an OBSCENELY short skirt, and healed someone. Yes, I'm very normal. Kida sighed and turned, about to reply, when she caught sight of Mercury fainting. Or whom she thought was Mercury. She swore, blushed about it, and rushed to her side.
"It must have been too much for her," she checked her pulse and reached into her purse. "Where is it...? I know I've got it in here somewhere...aha!"
Kida pulled out a vial of smelling salts, lots of garlic and vinegar to really make the eyes water, and waved it under the young woman's nose in an attempt to wake her up.
"And I am not a princess. My name is Kida. Or at least i think it is. I just don't know after that." All she wanted was to go home and have a nice cup of rose hip tea, sit in her comfortable living room, and do some sewing. Was that so wrong?

[ Kunzite/Sagasu Irei ~ Well, I fudged that up... ]
Kunzite was glad that Earth was coming back; but it was for the wrong reason. She brushed past the General and moved towards the unconscious pink-haired woman Kunzite had been conversing with - she still wasn't sure it was Mercury yet - and totally ignored her for a few moments. Kunzite gaped at her for a second before dropping her transformation, returning back to Irei.
She watched Kida and heaved a sigh, reaching up and scratching her head. "I...guess I'll leave you to it, then." Strange. Even when she was herself again, Irei almost felt like her heart was being crushed in a vice right now. She didn't even know this girl, but somehow she did. Giving another heavy sigh, she turned on her heel and grabbed her briefcase and began to walk out of the cafe.
< And it started out as such a good day, too... >

Yasashii Kida // Wait What? NO!
Kida waved the vial under the girl's nose a few more times, but she didn't miss Kunzite's softly spoken words. A sudden black hole of panic and sorrow opened up in her at the thought of Kunzite leaving and she dropped the vial, shot to her feet and wrapped her arms around the woman's waist, pressing against her back.
"No. Please. Don't leave. I'm sorry, I just...I'm scared and confused and upset but please...I don't want to lose you again," Kida babbled and held on tight. "Don't go, Kunzite. Please."
Even those words dredged up memories that were hers but not. She'd begged this way too when Kunzite said he was going with her to that final battle on the Moon. I lost him once, I can't lose him again. Not because of my own stupidity.
"Will you come to my apartment? So we can talk?"

[ Sagasu Irei ~ Annnnd back to basics ]
Irei had just dug out her car keys when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist, and a figure pressed against her back.. She stopped instantly and knew even before she heard the words spoken who was behind her.
Raising her free hand up, she rested it over one of Kida's and sighed, shaking her head. < Now you know how I felt > she hat wanted to say, but refrained from doing so. It really didn't seem like the proper time or place to go into this, especially with how confused Kida was about this whole thing.
"No doubt you're confused, Princ-- I mean, Kida." Irei corrected herself with a small grin, shifting around to she looked down at the shorter girl. About to add more to the statement, Irei quickly closed her mouth when Kida offered for them to go to her apartment...alone.
The old Irei came out, smirking amorously down at her. "Well, well...we've only just met and you're already inviting me over?" She chuckled, reaching her free hand out and gently cupped Kida's chin with it. "Quite the bold one, aren't you?" Her confidence boosted again, she chuckled and released Kida, turning on her heel again. "Finish your work here, I'll wait outside for you...Kida-hime." She teased over her shoulder, heading towards the exit of the cafe.

Sailor Neith / Zorion - GottaRunKBye!
The last attack from Zeus knocked Neith off her feet and she wasn't sure, but she may have lost consciousness for a few moments. When she dusted herself off, a very interesting scene was playing out in front of her. The woman who was Earth was hugging the woman who was Kunzite. 'And I'm sure they don't want witnesses. Especially not one who is an Empath.' She pulled herself back to her feet again and grabbed her stuff.
The transformation faded and the panic attack that had been threatening her since lightning appeared on Caecus' arm slammed into her full force. She didn't even realize that the pink-haired woman had fainted as she turned and walked quickly toward the door. "Been fun, really, but I'm going back to reality now. Dad was right, coffee is evil."

Yasashii Kida // Oh my GOD!
She smiled in relief. Kunzite wasn’t leaving. She hadn’t messed everything up. It was always a bad idea for her emotions to run the show but sometimes Kida couldn’t help herself…
Like when Kunzite (she really had to learn this woman’s name) smirked down at her and actually implied that she was inviting her over to…to…DO things. Kida’s face turned beet red and she buried her face in her hands before rushing back into the café. She’d never felt so embarrassed in her entire life. Not even Hikaru had been that bold.
“Well I see some things haven’t changed,” she muttered, remembering that bathing room incident and knelt down next to the unconscious, pink-haired girl.

{ Alexis Caldwell-Blakeney :: Ugh whu? }
Slowly, Alexis found herself coming to. Mostly it was due to the delightful stench of...something that was familiar. Smelling salts, she recognised. She didn't actually want consciousness; she would have been much happier to have stayed unconscious, away from the hellish mess that made no sense. The rest of her wanted to get up, get out, and lock herself in her house until she could calm herself down. She wanted very far away from everything.
Carefully, she sat up, keeping her eyes closed for a moment; the last thing she wanted to see was the strangely-clad women again. After a moment, she knew she had to open them, and did so slowly.
"Oh thank heavens..." She murmured aloud, relieved to find that there was no-one clad in strange outlandish outfits any more.

[Mnemosyne - now what is going to happen]
Mnemosyne watched from a safe distance to see waht would happen within the cafe. Apparently Zeus is not the only senshi to awaken, though she was the main one that Mnemosyne cared about. However, her mistress would want to see all she saw. Soon Zeus had lost her transformation and passed out. Her man servent, or whatever he was, ran out the door with her. Mnemosyne carefully followed after, from a safe distance. She needed to make sure Zeus was ok, at least so her mistress would know all was well with one of her newly awakened servents.
