Yasashii Kida // And down I go
Everything had been going great, except for the headache. She'd downed some painkillers, penciled in Zorion, and was just about to finish her hot chocolate when someone crashed into their table. Kida couldn't help the shriek that escaped her as she tumbled from her chair, smacked her elbow against the floor, and her head against the wall. She groaned, as the head impact only served to make her waking dream seem far more acute. Why is this happening to me now?
"What is going on?" she pushed herself up and checked to be sure her skirt hadn't exposed anything too indecent.
Then she felt it. Electricity. It wasn't a physical sense but more of a mental one. Familiar yet wrong. It wasn't the presence she was familiar with. Okay, something is very, very wrong. She was starting to get a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach when she looked at the woman who smelled of lightning and who was currently choking some poor passer-by. A name...
"Zeus?"

** Caecus Pietus and Kismet Chauncey **
The cafe had turned into a whirlwind of panic. Caecus' head was swimming with three languages worth of panic around her, and it felt as though the room were spinning. The sensation came from the invisible barrier that surrounded her always now. It had always been at one distance, but now in her current state, she could feel it growing. She was sensing more around her.
She could feel Kismet having landed near or on a voluptuous woman; Two other women seemed to have been displaced somehow and were reacting so; And Laila had fallen for some reason.
"Caecus? Laila's timid questioning of her current state stood out from the rest of the rabble. For some reason, maybe because the strange field around her had grown, but she could see Laila is exquisite detail. She was more than just a moving block; She had details, curves and the like. She could only imagine that it was like seeing a person for real.
"Laila, I don't know what's wrong," she said, gripping the write of her injured hand. It still sparked with the pain. "I came to Japan to figure this out, to find out who I am-"
"Zeus?" Someone said it. Someone had said it. That names that had reverberated in her dreams, the name she knew had to be hers. Here, now, in this little cafe in Japan, someone else knew that name.
"Who said that?!" Caecus turned in the direction of the sound. "Who said that name? Who said my name?!" My name. My name is Zeus... No, SailorZeus. "I am... SailorZeus... But you are not Jupiter." That other name, that name of her sworn enemy. If the name of Zeus had significance, if someone knew that name, then someone had to know Jupiter's name.
Meanwhile, Kismet had recovered from being chocked in time to be shaken by a striking white-haired woman. Once he recovered from that, he took notice of what was happening with Caecus. "Something is wrong," he said. "That isn't like her. And is that... Lightning?"

(Nagori Shan- oh hell no)
Nagori was quietly sitting at her table in the corner, attempting to mind her own business. She had finally turned her attention on to her work. A great idea had just popped into her head when all hell broke out. Something was going on up at the front of the shop. She stood up to try to get a better view, and then she heard it.
"Zeus"
Aw crap... another one... Nemesis told me I should watch for more to awaken.
Nagori gathered her books and items back into a bag. She had to do something, but what!? How could she... should she let Zeus know who she was, that their mistress was waiting to find her?
If I don't do something, Nemesis may not be pleased with me.
And that thought made her cringe. Then it came to her. This was her duty, to stand in the background and watch. To replay it all later. But Zeus needed to know that her mistress was waiting for her. As calmly as she could, Nagori grabbed her things and procedded to make her way toward Caecus. Her movemnts probably looked strange among the panic, but Nagori was calm. Her mind was racing and calculating everything.
As She finally emerged next to Caecus, she whispered low enough for only the woman to hear.
"Nemesis awaits you Zeus. She will be glad to see you are awake."
And with that, Nagori made her way out the store and across the street. Leaning against a wall, she watched intently on what would happen next.

Zorion Heulwen - Anyone know mythology?
Zorion had to force herself to calm down to keep from triggering a panic attack. That would certainly not be good right now when the rest of the cafe seemed to be in a panic as well. The pink-haired woman that had caught her attention earlier moved closer to her.
"Perhaps wait a moment," ... "I think the young woman's companion may calm her."
"I wasn't-" Zorion quickly looked the woman over, frowning slightly. She knew she wasn't the woman she was supposed to be protecting, but the woman still 'felt' familiar. "I really hope you're right."
She glanced at Kida when she heard a name fall from the other woman's lips, frowning when she saw her picking herself up. 'Zeus? What would an ancient Greek god be doing here?'
Ignoring the warning bells in her head the name set off for a moment, Zorion tried to use her powers to calm the people around her. They were all strangers to her, so she wasn't sure how they'd react, but she had to do something. At least her princess was not here. She could only hope that the other woman was somewhere safe.
When Caecus started yelling about Jupiter, Zorion moved to stand between her and Alexis and Kida. "Anybody have a clue what she's talking about?" she asked, watching the others for any sign of recognition. When Nagori stepped forward, she felt her entire body tense. How could she be so calm in the middle of all of this?

{ Laila Sindri :: ...I think I need to go...somewhere... }
Laila was quite relieved when Caecus turned her unseeing eyes towards her; perhaps she had got through to her? She could only imagine how frightening it must be to gain an injury when you couldn't see, no wonder Caecus had lost her temper.
"Laila, I don't know what's wrong," ... "I came to Japan to figure this out, to find out who I am-"
The rest of any further explanation was cut off by something that made absolutely no sense to Laila whatsoever. Caecus started shouting about Jupiter, and Zeus, and all Laila knew about them was that they were gods. She took a step back, shaking, as Caecus rounded on the women behind her.
She wanted to yell herself, demand that the world be put back in its place thank-you-very-much, that this whole situation made no sense and it should just stop right this second. She didn't. She couldn't. All she could do was stand there, shaking, trying to find an explanation for everything she was seeing, and trying not to completely fall apart.
***
{ Alexis Caldwell-Blakeney :: Well, that was unexpected. }
"I wasn't-" ... "I really hope you're right."
"As do I..." Alexis murmured, but it seemed as though it was not meant to be; the young woman started shouting at others - down at the curly-haired young woman who had fallen. It was automatic for her to kneel down and offer her a hand up.
"Here," she said, giving a sort-of-smile, eyes tense behind her spectacles. "Allow me to assist." For once, she didn't care how incredibly English her Japanese sounded; she just wanted to help the woman up.
This is all too unbelievable... So much is going on that just should not be possible. Lightning within the confines of a building? Centred around one lone woman? This is the stuff of fairy tales, not of reality!
Alexis pushed away the thoughts, pushed away the emotions she felt flying around - Though how can I be noticing them? And why do I feel as though someone is trying to calm me? - pushed away the horrible, nagging thought that this all meant something to her, and turned her attention back to the young woman who had fallen.
"It might be better if you were on your feet," she said kindly.

[ Sagasu Irei ~ Suddenly, it's starting to make sense... ]
Irei was thankful that the young man who was thrown seemed to be recovering, and at least he had a nice, soft landing against her. She managed to push herself to her feet, keeping an eye out for that strange woman. Lightning was sparking from her. Irei was about to offer assistance to the man up onto his feet, but suddenly stopped cold.
"Zeus?"
She heard the name loud and clear, uttered from the mouth of the curly-haired woman on the floor. It turned Irei's blood into ice, her body becoming stiff and ridged. Slowly, she turned her attention down towards the girl who said that, her eyes going wide.
A rush of memories and emotion came flooding into her; the fragments of dreams she had been having as of late were starting to piece together. It didn't make complete sense, but Irei knew there was more at stake here. She was so focused upon that familiar girl that she completely ignored the ranting of the one she addressed as Zeus, and completely forgot about the fallen man, too.
Irei leaped over the fallen table and rushed to the girl's side, shouting "Princess!" She was instantly down at the girl's side, placing a firm hand on her shoulder from the opposite side of the pink-haired woman. "Are you alright?! I must get you out of here! It is not safe, the fall--" She was letting her mouth run and had no idea where the words were coming from, or how stone-cold her voice had become. Irei gulped and jerked her head over her shoulder, narrowing her eyes at Zeus. "...A shade..." She murmured breathlessly. "A Shade has appeared."

Yasashii Kida // I'm falling down the rabbit hooooole....
It didn't make any sense. Where had that name come from? And why did it seem to be RIGHT? The way the woman was reacting, she knew it had to be true. Then there was someone offering her a hand and she reached out unthinking and grasped it. A flash of cold and ice and those eyes looking at her rather indulgently as she tried to mother someone, whether she wanted it or not.
"Mercury?" she whispered.
Then the memories came like an avalanche. Her previous headache was but a brief fancy when someone called her "princess". It was the wrong voice, the wrong form, but she would know that presence anywhere. The white-haired woman dropped beside her, a strong hand on her shoulder, a voice saying they had to get to safety.
"Kunzite," she felt the tears come to her eyes and she released the hand she'd been holding to throw her arms around her beloved guardian.
It was all so soon. So quick. But she understood what she had to do. She was the one who'd dropped the bomb, so to speak, and it was up to her to clean it up. After giving Kunzite-who-was-a-woman a hug, she slowly rose to her feet and drew herself up. A sense of purpose was within her now. When she spoke, it was through her voice but another's words.
"Sailorzeus, I name you for what you are," her blue-grey eyes flashed. "I am the Princess Earth, and while I don't know how you came to be here or why, I do know you are not wanted. Leave this place!"
Kida put as much power as she could behind her words but it didn't feel like enough. She wasn't an aggressive person. She never had been. It was so out of her element to challenge the Shade like this, but somehow, she knew she had to. The Shades caused the fall of our home. MY home. I will not let them do it again!

**Caecus Pietus and Kismet Chauncey **
"Sailorzeus, I name you for what you are," the woman proudly proclaimed. Caecus turned her dead eyes in the woman's direction. Her voice illuminated the brewing memories. She knew this. "I am the Princess Earth, and while I don't know how you came to be here or why, I do know you are not wanted. Leave this place!"
"That is enough!" Kismet stepped out in front of Caecus, pointing accusingly at Kida and Irei. "I don't know what is going on, but I will not let you speak to her like that!"
"Mr. Chauncey..." Kismet's hair stood on end all around. He looked over his shoulder to a brilliant ball of electricity that quickly melted away. Where Caecus had stood now stood a woman with similar strawberry-blond hair is a drastic outfit of greens. Covering her eyes was a mask in the same colors. "This is my fight, Mr. Chauncey," the woman said in a low voice. "Please escort Laila out of here. Take her to the music store. I shall settle my own grief."
Kismet was hesitant. Then he stepped aside and took Laila's arm. "Perhaps it is best we go... I don't know about you, but I'm not exactly educated for Magic."
"Nemesis awaits me," Zeus declared. The mysterious woman's hushed whisper was well on her mind. "She shall have more answers for me, but right now, I only seek one answer: Where is SailorJupiter?!"

Zorion Heulwen - Not the usual one
'This has got to be the weirdest one of these dreams I've ever had. And that's certainly not how these people looked before.' Zorion watched Kida as she hugged the woman she had claimed earlier to not know, then stood to challenge Caecus.
"Maybe you shouldn't say that in a cafe full of innocents, Lady Earth." Not that there were very many people left in the cafe. As she spared a quick glance around, several of the cafe's customers seemed to have either left, or gone into hiding behind their tables. When she glanced back at Caecus, she was surprised to see Zeus standing there. "Definitely one of the weirder dreams. It's usually a different Shade."
With the threat in front of her and at least one, if not two, Princesses behind her, neither of which were Venus, Zorion felt an odd calm come over her. "Jupiter's not here."
Pinkish-purple energy surrounded her and as it faded, Neith dropped into a defensive position, waiting for the Shade to make the first move.

{ Alexis Caldwell-Blakeney :: I think my 'impossibility' quota is overflowing... }For a moment, as she held the hand of the sweet-looking young woman, Alexis was sure she felt a stirring of memory. There was a hint of familiarity, though Alexis was certain she had never seen the woman before in her life. She had no time to question the thought further, as all of a sudden the white-haired woman who had been speaking with her practically erupted, skidding to a halt beside them and addressing the young woman as 'princess'. Just what is going on, here?... She thought, taking a step back as her hand was released. Surely this is some sort of...dream?... Except she knew she was awake. Her disbelief grew as first the angry, lightning-surrounded young woman, and then the woman she had been speaking with transformed before her eyes. "This is impossible..." She murmured in English, shaking her head slowly. "Utterly impossible..." *** { Laila Sindri :: I don't understand... }Laila wanted to be anywhere but where she was. She didn't understand what was going on, had no idea how it was possible for these people to just suddenly up and transform like something out of an anime, and she really didn't want to stick around for the fight she suspected was brewing. She leaped a good foot into the air as someone took her by the arm, and she jerked her head around, eyes wild, to see the man Caecus had been shouting at. "Perhaps it is best we go... I don't know about you, but I'm not exactly educated for Magic.""N-no, no I'm not..." She stuttered, tearing her eyes from him to regard the transformed Caecus again. "How...how is this even happening? Did I hit my head or something?...

Sailorearth // Shit be hitting the fan
When she saw Zeus transform, she knew she had no choice but to do so as well. She murmured her transformation and leafy green vines started twining around her figure. Once she was completely wrapped, the vines burst apart, revealing her as Sailorearth. Her skirt fluttered around her knees, her armor shone as though newly minted, and she could feel the power in her gloves, giving her strength and a confidence she'd never felt before.
"As was clearly stated, Jupiter is not here. Still, it's good to know that old grudges and lies from the past are not dead," her eyes turned hard. "It will make it easier for us to find a way to defeat you once and for all this time."
The memories were still fuzzy but Earth was certain of one thing: no one had won on that battlefield so long ago. The Shades were so closely matched to them in power that it was terrifying. She clenched her hands into fists and the gauntlets started to glow with an emerald green aura. So this is the beginning of war once again. Will there never come a time for peace? Will they continue to haunt us until the end of time?

[ Kunzite ~ Standing Tall ]
Irei felt her heart leap into her throat, feeling the warm embrace of her Princess again. Strange...she knew all of these things about her past, but now it was finally coming all together. She hadn't felt anything like this before in her life, but it made sense now. Once released, Irei knew it was time. Time to finally become who she was meant to be, and protect the one she cared for.
Rising to her feet beside her Princess, Irei seemingly flickered out of existence for a moment, re-appearing clad in her smoke gray leather outfit, sword clenched in her hands.
"Whatever happens, whomever our enemy is - I will continue to protect you, Princess." The general Kunzite said in an icy voice, narrowing her eyes over at Zeus. "Until my very last breath."

** SailorZeus -A Warning, and a Gift **
"If Jupiter is not here, then I shall find her," Zeus said lowly. "I have unfinished business with her, and by all rights, I have no quarrel with any of you." Zeus held out her hand, summoning a lighting bolt that turned into her Levin Talae. "I shall give you this warning, however. If any of you get in my way, I shall not look upon you kindly." She spun the Levin Talae and slammed it on the ground. "I shall also give you this warning! If my business is unfinished, then I can say with certainty that others like me will also have such matters to attend to. Unless Jupiter is involved, it is not my quarrel, and I shall aid neither them nor you. I repeat first warning: Do not get in my way."
Zeus spun the Levin Talae up again and propped it against her shoulder. Everything inside was telling her to leave. Every voice of logic and experience said that this wasn't her fight. Every voice, except for one. It was old, dusty, and clawing it's way to the surface. It was instinct. It told her to not let them go without a reminder... "Oh, and when you see Jupiter... Give her this!" Zeus swung the Levin Talae out and around her 360 degrees before bringing it upright in front of her face. "Umbra Levitas!" A great, black cloud suddenly formed over Zeus. A low rumble of thunder shook the cafe before a bolt of lightning shot out of the cloud in SailorEarth and Kunzite's direction.

[ Kunzite ~ Protection Mode: Activated ]
Kunzite knew that this was a Shade Senshi, she knew she represented the counterpart of Jupiter - as of Zeus' blabbering wasn't enough of a cue - but she was having a hard time remembering Jupiter. A lot of the Court Senshi and Guardians were still kind of a blur to her, especially since she didn't pay that much attention to the other members of the Moon Court.
She only had one focus: Her Princess.
And right now, Sailor Earth was in jeopardy.
With Zeus' warning shot, Kunzite instantly dropped her sword. "Princess!!" She shouted, reaching out and wrapping her arm firmly around Earth's waist and throwing her weight forward, pulling her Princess and herself down to the ground. The bolt of lightning whizzed over their head and continued forward, though she wasn't sure if anyone else stood in it's path.

{ Laila Sindri & Alexis Caldwell-Blakeney :: Ow! }
As the lightening around Caecus -SailorZeus? - brightened, Laila clapped her hand over her photo-sensitive eyes, wincing at the pain as she smooshed her glasses into the bridge of her nose in the process.
Alexis watched in mingled horror and amazement as lighting exploded around the woman calling herself SailorZeus. It all seemed so impossible... She took a step back, eyes wide, as the lightning rushed towards her. She managed to get out of the way slightly, but the lightning caught her in the arm and knocked her flying. She cried out in pain, hitting the floor.
