** Caecus Pietus **
Caecus has to sigh again as the other woman tried to put together a cohesive sentence. Judging by her jumping between English and German, it wasn't going to happen anytime soon. "If you could please have a seat..." Caecus spoke gently as she sat in her own seat, motioning to the direction Kismet had sat earlier at the table. "Perhaps some tea. My... assistant has thus forfeited his claim to it. He has not consumed any, it is safe, and it may calm you. Once you are calm, we can speak in a more civilized manner, in whichever language you prefer... I am fluent in many."

{ Laila Sindri :: Tea...yes, tea is good... }
Laila slowly lowered herself into the proffered chair and curled her calloused fingers around the cup. "Thank you." She said quietly, using English. "I speak quite a few languages myself... I moved around quite a lot." She paused, flushing a little. "I'm sorry about your cane... I was distracted by that lady's coat and I wasn't really looking where I was going and I really am really sorry-"
Laila stopped herself from going on another long-winded apologetic rant by forcing herself to take a small sip of tea. It wasn't as sweet as she looked it, but it was something to occupy her mouth for a moment.
"My name is Laila, by the way." She added, softly. "Sorry that I meet you under such awkward circumstances..."

** Caecus Pietus **
Caecus couldn't resist a grin. She lifted her walking stick and set it across the able. It was long and white, with obvious cuts at equal intervals. At the top was a thin leather strap, and at the bottom the tip was painted red. The most revealing feature, however, was that not a bend present. "I think it will survive," Caecus chuckled. She then picked it up and undid it, folding it up and sticking it into her shoulder bag.
"I hope you'll forgive my deception," Caecus then said, grasping the handle of her own tea cup. Heat still radiated off of it. "I had to remind my assistant that I am a capable woman who does not need the chivalrous male to interject into every situation. And, of course, I was able to entice you to have a seat." Caecus released the cup, leaving it exactly where it had been, and sat forward a little, shrugging off her proper education and crossed her arms on the table. "My name is Caecus. I am happy we have met under such awkward circumstances."

Yasashii Kida // Business as Usual
"Several pieces?" that was enough to make her eyes widen and she smiled. "Well I can certainly see what I can do for you. You say you need to blend in, well a nice coat will do that. As well as some tailored slacks and perhaps a few long-sleeved shirts."
Normally Kida only worked in Lolita clothing but it was such a tiny market that she had started working on expanding her pieces. Some were special, like the coat or a dress, and some were just everyday clothes that people wanted made especially tailored to them. Or with a few embellishments. She shook her head at the question if the silver-haired woman was a friend of hers.
"Oh no, I don't know her. She's just...attractive is all. And she did wink in our direction," she blushed a bit but cleared her throat and tried to ignore that commotion that was going on around her. Although she did hear someone say something about a pretty coat. "Anyway, if you'd like to come in for a personal consultation, I'd be happy to make an appointment. And supply snacks of course."
Kida loved doing private consultations in her apartment. She took great pride in its homey feel, in her roses that added such a nice touch, and of course she was no slouch when it came to providing treats to snack on. Most of her customers came for the tailoring and stayed for the cake.

[ Sagasu Irei ~ Busy place, huh? ]
Relaxing in her chair and sipping her mocha, Irei looked about the cafe and noticed how...well, for lack of a better, bustling. More and more people were crowding in, so it was only a matter of time before some kind of a mishap happened.
And happen it did.
Irei watched with a bemused expression at the collision barely even a few tables away, and with lots of English babble going on. But, that wasn't what interested Irei so much; just the next table over, she heard the two girls she had flirted with in passing talk about her, and she cast another sideways, amorous glance over at them. She smirked and reclined in her chair, looking at the table in front of hers, where a sheepish looking girl with pink hair sat.
"Pretty hopping place today, huh?" She commented slyly at her, sipping some more at her tasty mocha.

Zorion Heulwen - Coffee cups make good hiding places.
"That sounds good. I'll leave it up to you as I have no fashion sense. At least not for blending in." Zorion took a sip from her drink and used the opportunity to glance over at the table where Irei was sitting. She saw the other woman glance their way again and turned back to the table quickly. She knew she was blushing, but took another sip from her drink to hide her face.
She glanced around the cafe for a moment, watching the people around them. Most of the ones that had been involved in the commotion seemed to have calmed down. Apparently, it wasn't as big a deal as it had initially sounded. She smiled slightly at Kida when she mentioned a private consultation.
It wasn't her idea of a great time, but she had been through worse. And there was something about this woman that made the whole thing seem less scary than it normally would to her. "That sounds like a good idea. My schedule is pretty clear at the moment, so whenever you want to meet is fine with me."

{ Laila Sindri :: Oh, she's...she's so lovely... }
It...wasn't damaged? For a moment, Laila just stared at the cane as Caecus folded it neatly and placed it in a bag. She fought with a brief flash of annoyance at being deceived, but as the other woman explained her reasons, the annoyance bled away to be replaced with a bright blush. She was rather glad Caecus couldn't see her, as she was sure she looked terrible; her pale skin went crimson so easily.
"I - thank you..." She said softly. "I don't usually come here, I'm actually quite lost..." She found herself admitting. Â "I was looking for a music store I thought was nearby - I play the violin you see..." Laila trailed off, feeling a little embarrassed she had rambled on so much.
***
{ Alexis Caldwell-Blakeney :: I - er - helLO o///O }
Alexis had tried not to take too much notice of the low-flying young woman; there were enough stares and jeers, she would not add to her embarrassment. Besides which, she was sure she could sense the woman's feelings from where she was sat. She felt rather awkward.
Her uncomfortable reverie was interrupted by an unexpected comment from a woman at the table across from her. Â Alexis looked up, and was rather ashamed to admit her faze stayed to the woman's rather remarkable chest before she managed to meet her eyes. She was sure she was blushing.
"Pretty hopping place today, huh?"
"Oh, yes, it certainly is." She said, carefully choosing the correct words, and well aware she was sounding even more English in her embarrassment.
"Is this usual?"

** Caecus Pietus **
"A music store, hmm?" Caecus thought for a moment. "Well, perhaps Mr. Chauncey will be of use today. There is one a short walk from here. He expressed interest in it. He said is plays, or used to play, an instrument. I sensed some hesitation, however, and we did not enter." Caecus had actually hoped that they would enter. It would have potentially shined some light on this annoying appendage whom she really knew nothing about. "Perhaps, when we are concluded here and Mr. Chauncey has detached himself from the eye candy at the counter, he can assist you in locating it. In the meantime..." A young couple were settling down in the table previously occupied by the J-Pop fans. This couple were definitely not Japanese, and their blatant comments in English about the stereotypes of the Japanese did not go unnoticed.
"I do not know if this is normal for this location," Caecus said in German, "But the people attracted here today have been rather obnoxious." She then smiled kindly in Laila's general direction. "Of course, present company aside."

Yasashii Kida // Oh Gracious Me...
"Well I'm free mostly on weekends. That's when I do a lot of my consulting. Truthfully," she smiled playfully. "Most of my clients come for the fittings and then stay for the tea. I grow all my own tea herbs so there a lot better than store bought."
She rummaged around for her day planner and began checking off the days to come. Hm, not this Saturday, Ken has a soccer game that I promised to go to in the morning. And then in the afternoon I have to work on Natsuko's new dress. Gracious, is Sunday booked too? Tea with father...but that's not until after supper.
"I think I can fit you in on Sunday. Either late morning or early afternoon. I don't have any family commitments until that evening and Sundays are usually slow days anyway," she glanced up. "If that's all right. It will also give me time to sketch up some ideas for you."
Kida glanced at the woman who'd spoken and then took a closer look. Something...felt familiar about her. She wasn't sure what it was. Then when she heard another woman speak in a rather audible British accent, something crashed like lightning through her subconscious. Fighting back a groan, she pressed her fingers to her temples. Not again. Please, not now. I don't need this right when I'm about to get a new client. The dreams had started affecting her in her day-to-day life now. The dreams of a kingdom, of a Princess, and most of all...a guardian. A man who never left her side. But when she looked at those two women, she felt a closeness to them she couldn't quite explain.
"I'm sorry," she smiled and once more rummaged in her bag for some painkillers, setting down her planner. "Sudden headache."

{ Laila Sindri :: How can she tell there's eye-cand--- you know, I'm not going to ask... }
"I must have been just a few metres out..." Laila murmured, mostly to herself, when Caecus mentioned that there was a store within a few minutes' walk. So she hadn't been quite as badly lost as she had thought she had been. It was certainly a relief! And the idea of visiting the store with the very nice Caecus was certainly a pleasant one!
She briefly debated questioning how the very-clearly-sightless Caecus could tell the young woman at the counter was 'eye-candy', but quickly quashed the idea; it was definitely rude. And Laila felt very strongly that she did not wish to be at all rude to this woman, certainly not after how kind she was being.
"I do not know if this is normal for this location," ... "But the people attracted here today have been rather obnoxious." ... "Of course, present company aside."
Laila felt her face heating up once more at the obvious compliment (one even she, in her utter obliviousness, could not have mistaken) and the lovely smile she received.
"It is certainly...loud." She decided on, her German definitely smoother than her Japanese, on a par with her English. "I have to say I'm not really very used to this area, so I don't know if it's normal either..."

[ Sagasu Irei ~ I sense a disturbance... ]
Irei gave a dismissive wave at the clearly-British woman she happened to be conversing with. However, upon noticing where her eyes lingered, she made a note to stick her chest out a bit more.
"Usually, no. Something seems...different today." She commented, smirking flirtatiously at the pink-haired woman and taking another swig of her mocha. "Your Japanese is rather good, I admit." Irei added at the end in rather good English, though she had the obvious Japanese accent to it.
Things seemed to be quieting down now that the main commotion seemed to have passed, and people were filing out of the small cafe. As much as Irei was enjoying her mocha, something seemed to be tugging in the back of her mind...and it wasn't that the two girls she had flirted with in passing kept looking over at her.
Irei glanced back over at the pair, taking another swig at her coffee. Nothing seemed unusual about them, but then she did a double take and nearly spat her mocha out.
She hadn't noticed it before, but the girl with the impressive coat and curly hair looked just like the princess she saw in her dreams. Irei gulped down the mocha in her mouth and tried not to be obvious that she was gaping, and tried to think of an excuse to talk to her. But she was with someone else right now...
So Irei did what she knew best: flirt. She met the curly-haired girl's eyes when she glanced over again, and gave another wink and store at her with heavy-lidded, lusty eyes. All while trying to seductively sip at her mocha, of course!

** Caecus Pietus & Kismet Chauncey**
"I am not from this area either," Caecus said, continuing in German. She closed her eyes. "I am from the United States, the heiress of a rather powerful family, to say the least. This trip is my last 'hurrah' before I take on more... Extensive duties within the family." Caecus meant to continue, but now that her eyes were closed, she was picking up on something a little off. It wasn't the couple sitting behind her, continuing their blatant comments in English. No, there was something overly charged in the air. A strange electrical charge, the like that she hadn't felt since... The previous night, and every night before, after waking from those dreams. The charge from the previous night's dreams had long faded. This charge was different. It almost made her want to wander, do see if she picked up on anything useful.
Almost.
She still had company. Thankfully, the couple behind her were moving. They didn't move int he direction of the door, so Caecus could only assume that they wanted somewhere a little more... Intimate. "I felt drawn to come here," Caecus finally continued. She opened her eyes again. "As though something was pulling me here... Maybe it was the chance to meet such fine company." She grinned as she reached for her tea. She was determined to have a taste, but it didn't seem meant to be. She thought she had left the handle pointing in one direction, but it wasn't there. Instead, her hand hit the cup's saucer and tipped the cup int he direction of her hand, spilling the still hot liquid onto her unsuspecting hand.
Caecus did not take surprises lightly, and was instantly up and out of her chair, holding her hand painfully as though it were covered in hot coals. "God damnit!" she shouted in very brash English. Her proper education was long gone. "Son of a b- Biscuit!"
Across the cafe, Kismet was frantically scrambling over the table where the coffee girl had sat him down. Once on his feet, he charged haphazardly across the cafe. He ran into a table occupied by two women with fancy clothes, smashing his hip against it before finally reaching Caecus. "Ma'am! Are you injured?!" He saw her hand and took it. "Don't worry, I know the way to a nearby hospital. We'll take you there and phone your grandfather and-" Kismet was cut off by Caecus' unburnt hand wrapping around his neck.
"For the sake of my sanity and your life... Leave me the hell alone!" She didn't pay attention to her field, she didn't pay attention to the orientation of the cafe. She just wanted this infuriating man away from her. She proceeded to shove him away, past the take he had run into and onto the table of two other women who had been enjoying their respected drinks.
By now, Caecus was fuming. Her hand was in pain, sending shocks up her arm: Literally.

Zorion Heulwen - No more coffee for me
"Sunday works fine for me," Zorion replied. That would give her plenty of time to psych herself up for it. And to find something to calm her nerves. "Late morning, just to be safe. I'd hate for you to miss your family commitments."
She glanced over at the white-haired woman from before, but her attention was drawn to the pink-haired woman next to her. She could feel her embarrassment from here. "Looks like you're not the only one who finds that lady attractive. You might have some competition." She winked at Kida, frowning when the curly-haired woman complained of a headache.
"With all of this noise, I'm not surprised."
She jumped when there was a sudden spike of emotion from a nearby table, followed by loud cursing in English. She barely managed to keep her own drink from turning over as she turned to look at the strawberry blonde. "Are you al-" The woman's companion bumped into their table pretty hard. Zorion was sure he was going to have a nice bruise tomorrow.
When Caecus grabbed him by throat and shoved him very roughly away, Zorion stood, quickly moving away from the blonde. "Something is so very wrong here."

[ Sagasu Irei ~ Oh no you didn't! ]
Irei immediately stopped her flirting when more disturbances happened; this time far more serious. The girl who got knocked into earlier suddenly seemed to have flown the coop, having reached out and was now chocking some poor guy.
Being a member of the Law, Irei instantly flew into action, practically leaping from the table and rushing towards the aid of the man.
"HEY!" She shouted, though her warning came a wee bit too late. The man bounced off of the near-by table of the two girls she was flirting with and collided right with her, sending her tumbling towards the ground. She scrambled to her feet, shaking the man.
"Hey, are you alright?!" She exclaimed, shooting a glare up at the psycho woman who just exploded for no good reason.

{ Laila Sindri :: EEP! }
An heiress? Laila had been quite ready to query Caecus all about the ins-and-outs of being an heiress, as the only other heiresses she had seen lived either between the pages of a book or on the TV/film screen. Indeed, she had opened her mouth to begin what would likely have been a lengthy opening question, when Caecus spilled her tea. Laila reached out a hand, napkin at the ready, when she was nearly knocked flying by the person Caecus had said she was attempting to avoid. What happened next completely blew her mind.
Somewhere between one breath and the next, Caecus was on her feet and quite literally manhandling the man across the cafe into a nearby table. Laila tried to push her chair backwards quickly to rise and see if she could help either the man or Caecus herself, but in the true fashion of one without a great deal of luck she instead succeeded in knocking herself backwards and onto the floor.
"Ack!"
Laila was quite used to this sort of thing, however, and got to her feet in relatively swift time, She jerked with surprise at the yell from a striking-looking white-haired woman whom it was impossible not to regard, then she dragged her gaze away and turned back to Caecus.
"Caecus?" She hesitated in German.
***
{ Alexis Caldwell-Blakeney :: What in all the heavens?! }
It had been quite pleasant to have someone speak to her in English, with a voice as accented as her own was in Japanese, and Alexis gave a small smile.
"I thank you." She said. "I have been studying for a very long time." She added. She took a sip of tea, and was debating whether or not she should find a way of continuing the conversation, when all hell seemed to break loose. There was the tinkling crash of breaking china, a sound akin to a thundering elephant, a babble of Japanese, and then - all of a sudden - a low-flying man.
"What in the world-?!" The English exploded from her lips as she rose as quickly to her feet as she could without either falling or knocking her own drink over. There seemed to be people everywhere, some shouting, some shrieking, others demanding. She heard a hesitant word of German, though not clearly enough to translate, and felt flashes of various emotions from all around the room.
This is not normal! She snarled inwardly, the thinning of her lips the only outward sign of her distress.
She looked around, noticed that the silver-haired girl who had been sat with the angry young woman appeared to be attempting to placate her, and that the women on the table nearby were just as startled as she was, though one seemed as though she wished to do something about the altercation. The white-haired woman who had been conversing with her was checking on the gentleman, so Alexis turned her attention to the standing aqua-haired woman. She stepped forward, near enough to be heard in the din.
"Perhaps wait a moment," she suggested politely. "I think the young woman's companion may calm her."
