This is less of a plot thread then a curiosity thread, I guess I was just wondering what your character's thoughts are on Sailor Saturn? Court and Guardians both! I suppose you can post your Shades too if you REALLY want XD I'm just randomly curious how many Senshi are terrified of her or if they're curious or what. Just so I can better judge how to interact with people later *nod*

Mercury always tries to let intellect guide her emotions, rather than being drowned in them. Therefore, I think during the Silver Millennium she would have been silently derisive of those who were afraid of Saturn, and in turn she would have had a healthy dose of respect for her and her power. I think, since she herself had a less than flattering reputation (though obviously nothing like Saturn's) she would have allowed herself to fell sympathy. She wouldn't visit as she (a) rarely visited the Moon Kingdom anyway, and (b) was worried that she might inadvertently sense Saturn's emotions, and she genuinely would not want to know if Saturn was unhappy; she would have felt compelled to say something.
I think today, Mercury will feel guilty that she was reluctant to go. She will internally berate herself for having let her emotions rule her judgement there, and so will be quietly respectful to her. She might, at first, not be able to met Saturn's gaze due to the guilt she's carrying, but I think the side of her that is still Alexis will point out just how rude that is, Soooo it won't last.
...wow, that was like War and Peace! Sorry Shuu!! ^^;;;

To be honest, Earth never really thought of Saturn. She was that naive in believing the Silver Millennium would never fall and her power would never be needed. Also: since she didn't see Saturn appear to end everything in the past, she doesn't really blame her for ending it nor is she terrified of her powers. Present Kida will have pretty much the same feelings. She just doesn't know Saturn enough to form an opinion about her, but other opinions of Saturn will influence her opinion a bit until she can come to her own conclusions. (Yes, Kida is a follower.)
Charon? Hehe, Charon has a "thing" for Saturn. Always has. At first it was just that she felt the connection to the imprisoned Senshi: always alone, always judged, feared for her powers and kept apart from everyone else "for her own good". So Sen is still going to have those feelings of respect and understanding and since he's a Yakuza, he will actually be in awe of meeting such an infamous persona. ...Among other things...hehe.
Ouranos just sees her as another obstacle to overcome. A powerful one that has to be handled delicately, but an obstacle nonetheless.

Makes sense <3 thanks for your input, guys! ^___^ Minxie: I can see Shen and Alexis getting along really well, actually. Once she gets over her initial aversion towards Shen, they would have a great deal in common (I could honestly see them both sitting around talking about tea for aaggeess XD). Plus, they're both old-fashioned Ree: Well, we know about Charon and Saturn already <3 <3

Selenity / Moon - Will still be hesitant toward her because of her memories of the past, but is no longer scared of her. She would feel sorry that it was because of her line that Saturn was imprisoned and would try to find some way to make it up to her.
Neith - Scared of her before she meets her. After she meets her, depends on Saturn's mood. And whether or not she poses a threat to Venus.

Sailor Venus: I think Venus would've been too sulky to really pay any attention to Saturns presence. She was there, was it immediately effecting her? Not particularly. Venus was a very self-centred little madam in the past. Yuuno can't remember anything of the past though, so she'd be learning as she goes.
Pre-emptive Sailor Artemis: I think Artemis would've held a fearful respect for Saturn. Working within the Moon Kingdoms court would've given her an insight on the theoretical power of the Senshi. Out and out fear wouldn't have been an occurrence, though she'd be typically cautious.

I know I haven't updated Tori yet (my WIP file on the computer has much more than listed on the site and I intend to update it this evening), but let me add my tuppence in here as I'm fleshing out histories at the moment.
Sailor Mars would hold respect for Saturn's power, as a warrior first and foremost. She knows that a true warrior knows when to hold back and when to let every bit of power free. Because of this, she may be able to relate to Saturn on some level, though it would be awkward due to Mars' social ineptitude and focus more on the fight than the social graces.
Present-day, I'm planning to play it by ear. Tori will likely be wary of her (like she will with everyone by design), but has enough sense to not let her personal past bleed onto everyone else she meets.

Assuming she's accepted, Solaris would be okay with Saturn. She wouldn't be one of her besties, but she wouldn't be out and out scared of her. She'd respect her power, and WHY she has to be in FarFarAway. Familiarity breeds contempt, though, and seeing as she's not familiar with her...
Misae, on the other hand? She'd be Misae!fine until she found out about Shen's history. Then...I'm not so sure. (She's young enough that she'd VAGUELY remember the incident, and that's assuming the news reached from Tokyo to Ginowan. Yeah, it would have been around 2007, but I don't know if the Japanese news media has the same "If It Bleeds, It Leads" mentality that the US media has. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?)

Phoebos would have been much like Mars in the past, respectful of Saturn as a warrior and of her realm. I don't see her fearing Saturn so much, seeing as Phoebos really only fears and feared herself and what the power of fear can do.
Daci- now thats a different story. She would probably be weary of saturn. Not sure what to do or how to act in the present day and probably allow fear to get to her a bit more.

Wow, I'm surprised at all of the positive stuff! This makes Shen feel all warm and squishy...or at least less like a monster XD
I have no idea how the news works in Japan, and I think that might be hard look up (although I did the research on the death penalty). SOOO we're going to say it spreads like wildfire as it does in America, just for posterity's sake XD Plus it's not every day a 16-year-old girl kills everyone in a hospital AND police offers with just a pair of katana made from bone! Granted, she'd be vvveeerrryyy leery telling people who she really is, so she won't tell anyone until she completely trusts them with this sensitive subject.
So yes, there is your long-winded answer, Lissa (Love the Ferris Bueller ref!)

Lol surprisingly, The News in Japan is similar to ours, although they like to play down anything that happens. Kind like:
"The Fukushima reactor's about to explode but daijoubu daijoubu, no need to panic. Just don't drink the water."
Whereas here in the west we thrive on the controversial, the news loves scaring the bejeezus out of people. The Sankaku Island fiasco at the moment is being monstrously played down over there even though the Chinese are running riot. As far as anything outside of their borders is concerned, they're not overly fussed. Much like anywhere else in the world really. When it comes to news of foreign places, shit would hit the fan for a couple of weeks and then petter out like everything else.

Thanks for the info Muu! That helps a lot LOL, I can see them going on about how many people Shen killed and then be like: "But don't worry. The Police are hot on her trail and they're bound to catch her sooner-or-later. Just lock your doors at night and everything will be fine." XD

Maia has no opinion. He really has little aknowledgement/knowledge of the other senshi and guardians. His focus has sorta been on Mercury.
However, as far as rumors or stray words, he'd probably be more curious than anything of this fearful world-ender.
