::Setting:: The evening is young, and bars all across the district are coming to life. One in particular seems to attract the foreign crowd, Bar International. It predominately stocks whiskey, with a small menu dedicated to everyday cocktails and mixed drinks. It has a warm atmosphere, with dark brown wood floors and chairs covered in maroon vinyl. The tables and high-tops seem to be the preferred seating, as the bar is inhabited by only a few solitary individuals. There is music, but it is so low that it can't be distinguished from the voices of the patrons. [[ Kismet Chauncey ]]He wasn't much of a a drinker, but after recent events, Kismet was considering the idea. He sat at the bar, with at least two empty seats on either side of him, and in front of him a single-malt scotch whiskey, which kind he couldn't remember. He had told the bartender to surprise him, and he suspected that it could be something pricey.

She needed a beer.
It had been a rough couple of weeks for Misae, and not just on the track. The events at the festival still weighed on her mind. While the media downplayed the event, she had been there. There was a lot of destruction. And that poor, strange man she helped. He seemed confused, at best.
Besides that, her car was destroyed. Now THAT was something she had a hard time explaining to her sponsors.
After they closed the shop for the evening, Misae - along with a few of the members of her pit crew - decided to head out to a bar. Since most of them still knew her as "Mika" , they didn't question her going with them. One the advantages of her pseudonym was that she had a very good fake ID. Besides, if worst came to worst, she could always pull the"celebrity" card.
While most of the guys knew what they wanted, she had no clue. Not being one to exactly be shy, she simply went to the bar, and sat to the right of one of the other bar patrons. Then, she looked over the menu, and sighed.

[ Koray Ignis --- I think I need something stronger than cake ]]
There had been too much weirdness going on, too many unexplained occurrences. Koray, though by no means a pure scientist by nature, was struggling to come to terms with the things he had witnessed. Flying women? Fantasy weapons? Unexplained winds? Black blood???
It was too much. All too much.
So when the bakery closed for the day, Koray made excuses to his parents and twin, and went for a walk. He needed a drink, though he was rarely one to drown his sorrows. What he was looking for was a little normality, something to take his mind off the crazy.
He ducked into the nearest likely-looking bar and flopped inelegantly onto a barstool beside a pretty young woman and a stoic-looking gentleman.
"Raki?" He queried the bartender. When he received a blank look he sighed; it was a bit much to expect Grecian alcohol really. "Red wine, please," he asked instead. "Your best, if you please." Koray suspected it would cost him, but what else were his wages for?

[[ Kismet Chauncey ]]
Kismet was mildly amused that seat near him were not vacant for too long. He glanced up and took interest in the lovely lady who sat beside him. He was less interested in her loveliness than he was in the fact that she didn't quite look old enough to be in a place like this. Then again, he had made a fool of himself toward other ladies in Japan whose looks didn't quite match their age.
When she cast a heavy sign, he felt obligated to ask her what was on her mind, but then another patron sat down rather... harshly. He asked the bartender for something he didn't recognize, and clearly neither did the bartender, and settled on red wine.
"Your best, if you please."
The bartender served the man, then stepped up to Kismet. "Are you going to drink that or just stare at it all night?" Kismet chuckled at this, looked at the man, and then looked to the young woman.
"Yeah, I'll drink it" Kismet said. He picked up the glass and downed the drink in one gulp. When he set the glass down, he regretted his action: He wasn't exactly a regular drinker, but after what he had witnessed, anything was possible. "I don't remember what that was, but pour me another, and another after that, and as many as necessary to forget everything hat has happened since I came to Japan." He paused. "And if you can help me forget my good-for-nothing father, I'll tip you extra."

(Celeste Lewis- Time off)
Celeste has finished her shift at the pub and decided to take a stroll. Normally she would have coized back up to the bar and had a drink at her own place, but the guys were getting to frisky tonight for her. She just wanted to find a little hole in the wall that wasn't crowded where she could throw back a shot and figure out all that she had just been a part of.
She ended up finding what seemed to be just the place, a bar she had never heard of. She walked in and noticed only a few people around. This was perfect. She walked up to the far corner of the bar and took a seat.
"Can I get a rum and coke and two whiskey shots please." she asked the bartender. As she waited on her order, she took a look around at the place and the people.

It took a while, but Misae finally settled on a beer. After the bartender served the two men to her left, and another person who had just come over, he made his way to her.
"I'll have a Orion Draft. Make it two right away." As the bartender went to get the cans out of the cooler, she thought about what the man to her left said, and chuckled. "I don't think there's enough alcohol in Japan to forget good-for-nothing fathers."

[[ Koray Ignis :: Forgetting? Yep, that's a good plan. ]]
Koray swirled the liquid around in his glass for a moment, regarding the way it moved, then shuddered as it made him think too much of the insanity he'd seen. Bloodshed. People pretty much flying---
He downed the glass quickly, nearly inhaling it in his eagerness to acquire some liquid courage. "Ah sod it." He muttered to himself. "The rest of the bottle, if you please." He requested of the barkeeper, and thanked the man profusely when he was furnished with it.
"I don't think there's enough alcohol in Japan to forget good-for-nothing fathers."
"Or crazy flying women." Koray couldn't help but enter the conversation, though he nearly choked when he realised what he was saying. Maybe that alcohol's a bit stronger than I'm used to? he wondered, then inwardly shrugged. If they thought he was crazy, so be it. He wasn't here to make friends, not tonight anyway.
Then he sighed, knowing full well he'd end up apologising for his words within the next few minutes or so, because that was just the way he was.

[[Kismet Chauncy ]]
"Or crazy flying women."
"Heh, I'll do you one better," Kismet said. He took a generous swig of the next glass, considered re-evaluating his decision to drink, and then glanced to the guy. "Crazy sparking women, like they've got lightning in their veins." Kismet then took another swig. "And then realizing that you work for her."
He signed into his glass and set it back down, a thin layer of alcohol still in the bottom. He waved the bartender to refill, and was too busy staring at the glass refilling to see the bartender's questioning stare before he walked away.

[[ Koray Ignis :: Erk! ]]
Sparking women? There were more of them?! Well, more strange women who could do things seemingly not of this world, anyway. He certainly hadn't seen any women who sparked. Koray wasn't sure if that was a plus point or not. At least he was secure in the knowledge that none of those crazy fighting women worked for him, or with him. He was safe on that front, at least.
"Dude." Koray shook his head, filling his own glass precariously full. "These women...well, one of them at least. Or maybe both. Hell if I know." He downed half the glass quickly. "Wind power. Like, causing-tornadoes kind of power." He paused. "Though, at least I don't work for any of them." He glanced sideways at Kismet. "I'm Koray, by the way. And I don't spark."

{Misae LaFleur - And I'd just finally forgotten all about it!}
She listened in to the conversation the men to her left were having. Not intentionally, of course. The bar was quiet, which make it a bit easier to listen in. When the blonde mentioned the incident at the festival, she groaned out loud. She had come to the bar to forget it, not re-live it. And then, when the darker skinned man spoke about his boss, she realized that the festival wasn't just a weird one-off situation.
"So this shit is real." She drank about half of her first can of beer in about three gulps before looking over at the two men. "I was hoping I was just hallucinating from being near portable fryers all day."

[[ Kismet Chauncey ]]
Kismet groaned a little. "My boss sparks and was almost turned into swiss cheese by these other ladies, and one of them used lots of vines with lots of thorns to do the deed." Kismet paused and tried to think clearly about what happened, but the alcohol was starting to do its work. "Though, my boss was the one who started the fight, I think..." He glanced to the man next to him, returning the look. "The name's Kismet," he said. "And I don't fly, unless my boss has a choke hold on me and throws me."
"So this shit is real."
It was a statement, not a question, and Kismet leaned back a little to see the woman who had spoken. She was a younger red-head, not entirely unattractive. In fact, she looked like a million dollars, but what was still logical in Kismet's brain reminded him of the alcohol. "It is very real," he replied, leaning back toward the counter. "And judging from what was said that day, I think it's only going to get very much worse from here."

[[ Koray Ignis --- Aw man... ]]
So it wasn't just him. Part of Koray wanted to be relieved, part of him was alarmed; if there were more instances, it was just going to get worse. He groaned aloud as Kismet pointed out that very same thing, and drained his glass down, filling it up once more.
"Well this is rubbish." He said flatly, raising his glass slightly in greeting to the attractive redhead down the bar from him. "Flying women, crazy winds out of nowhere, more knives flying around than at a circus, and then all of the stuff you said, Kismet-" He sighed heavily, leaning his elbow on the bar and his chin on his palm. "Just what the hell is going on?"

She drank some more, listening to the other two men speak. When the blonde asked what was going on, she could only reply with a deep sigh.
"I don't know." She glanced over at the two men, and thought for a second. She then noticed the blue haired woman at the end of the bar, but not seated too far away from them. Like the guys and herself, she seemed to have her thoughts elsewhere.
"What about you?" she asked the other woman. "You notice any strange shit lately? Oh, by the way, my name's Misae."

[[ Kismet Chauncey ]]
The young woman suddenly found interest in another young woman in the bar, so Kismet turned back to his drink. His glass was empty, and he beckoned the bartender for another. "Don't you think you folks have had enough to drink already?" the bartender laughed. "You ought to listen to the nonsense you're talking."
"Until my nonsense actually sounds like nonsense, keep it full," Kismet grumbled. "It isn't like I'm not good for the money." He scratched his head again and went back into thought. There was no way to think about any of this logically, or in reality. he had to think of it in terms of fantasy, fiction, B-movies...
"So, trying to analyze all of this in terms that it actually makes sense in...." Kismet paused and looked to Koray. "It's like one of those weird kung-fu cartoons, with flying students that learn magic with spells or... something. And there's two sides, it seems, or maybe more, but at least two because half of the cafe was definitely against my boss." Kismet could feel himself rambling and shut down for a moment. He took a minute to form his next sentence to the best of his ability. "I have a REALLY bad hunch that out of all of these crazy women, my boss might be a bad guy. Er, bad girl- Wait, way wrong terminology!"

((Celeste Lewis))
Celeste had finally gotten her drink and got lost in her own thoughts about the day. What a crazy day it was. She was about to take a long sip of her drink, when a voice from across the batr seemed to be traveling her way. Celeste looked up to see the eyes of a woman looking directly at her.
"I... well I'm not really sure what all I saw today to be honest." Celeste shrugged a bit. "It's now all a big blur." She took a short sip of her drink and looked around at the few other patrons taht seemed to be talking about the same events. "My name is Celeste."
(*bows like crazy* so sorry for being so late to reply!!)
